My name is Hilda, I was born and raised in central California but have had the pleasure of living ALL over the state of California as well as the Hawaiian Islands and Colorado. I love God, my WONDERFUL and supportive family and my fur babies . . I am PASSIONATE about life and aim to live it to the fullest every day that I am blessed to be on this earth!
I am a certified personal trainer, nutrition consultant, yoga instructor, travel blogger and mother to one beautiful 8 year old baby girl, Jolee. I have also had the pleasure of being a television show host in the past but am temporarily on hiatus from that aspect of my life, most likely indefinitely.
I truly enjoy helping people, traveling & working out and cooking healthy, which is one of the reasons I put time & effort into this site. In regards to cooking, my goal is to prepare wholesome, NATURAL & figure friendly meals in a relatively short amount of time. It is safe to assume that the recipes & grocery lists I post are (AT LEAST)80% organic even if I don’t write “organic” before each ingredient. In regards to working out, I believe in MOVING YOUR BODY! It is important to find activities that you enjoy or you will not continue to do them. Do what your body allows & make it time efficient. I personally enjoy super long walks, short jogs, yoga, hiking and circuit training when I am in a hurry.
My joy of cooking has lead me to begin a collection of recipes that I plan on publishing sometime in the future. I also wrote a children’s book for my favorite babies which is just waiting for illustrations! 😀
